Crispy, crunchy low carb healthy snack!
1/2 lb Trader Joe's raw almonds
1 tbs hot water
1 tbs sugar
Salt lots
Cayenne
Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 300 put almonds in then turn down to
235 1 hr 30
Microwave water till boiling then add sugar to make a quick simple syrup. Pour over almonds. Spread almonds on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Season with Diamond Crystal salt (heavy application, think pretzels), cayenne and cinnamon to your liking. Put oven for 5 minutes then turn down to 235 and roast for 1 hour 30 minutes.
